My name is Gemma Harris. I graduated with a BSc in Psychology in 2012. I have a post graduate diploma in integrative counselling and coaching from the University of London. Next year I will be completing my research to achieve a masters in integrative counselling and coaching. I have specific interests in trauma, issues experienced by clients with auto immune conditions, self acceptance, development and domestic abuse. I continue to undertake training and development in these areas as well as keeping up to date on developments in the therapeutic and coaching industries
I am a fully qualified personal consultant and have been providing therapy services to a busy GP surgery since April 2017 and coaching clients in a group and individual setting since 2018.
I am a member of the British Association for counselling and psychotherapy and abide by all their ethical principles.
I provide 1:1 therapy face to face or, after and initial consultation, whilst walking, in a safe environment.
I also offer seminars on a number of mental health topics for organisations or small groups by arrangement.
My integrative background means I can utilise my knowledge and interventions to create a bespoke experience for all of my clients.
I provide a safe non judgemental space in which we can explore any areas which are problematic or focus on parts of your life you wish to enhance or to reach a specific goal.
I offer therapeutic services evenings and on Sundays. Sundays can be problematic for people as it can make the end of another week where a situation may not have changed or even deteriorated. Also for people with busy lives, Sunday is often the only day they have any spare time.
